In 1955, Emma Rovick a housewife and mother of three from Edina Minn., borrowed
$2,000 and bought a struggling real estate firm in order to make enough money to
buy a piano for her daughter. She inherited three sales people and managed to sell
$2 million in real estate that first year. Her first office was at 50th and France in
Edina before France Avenue was even paved.

The Foundation is funded by donations from our agents and employees, as well as from Edina Realty, Edina Realty Mortgage, and Edina Realty Title.The Edina Realty Foundation extends financial support to non-profit organizations that provide housing and other services such as counseling and medical care to the homeless. Since its inception in 1996, the Foundation has raised over $5.4 million to help experiencing homelessness or towards homelessness prevention in the committees we serve.

Because of our Foundation’s charitable giving, Edina Realty has joined an elite group of companies recognized for their outstanding contributions to the community through the Minnesota Keystone Program.
